Marriage and Family Ministry

Family life today can be an incredible challenge. The marriage and family ministries of First Assembly of God Christian Center strengthen the families of our community through a variety of training and enrichment experiences that will help you no matter what your family is facing.

We strengthen families through:

  • providing a place where couples can receive training in the skills necessary to build a strong marriage.
  • mentors who will walk beside couples during times of difficulty.
  • retreats and conferences featuring local or nationally known speakers who challenge and equip couples.
  • training for families facing the challenges of a blended family
  • small groups where couples can develop friendships with others facing the same challenges they are.
  • parent training for the three key seasons of parenting – early childhood, the elementary years, and the teen years.
  • Counseling through our Renew Counseling Center for couples who desire more personalize family or marriage coaching.

Marriages today are facing an onslaught from the enemy like we have never seen before. Come and join us as we stand side by side to help each other get through the every day struggles we face. We take a biblical no holds look at the roles both husbands and wives play in
making our marriages stronger for the Kingdom of God.

TOPIC: I LOVE YOU MORE
Learn how marriages can thrive when couples use everyday difficulties to strengthen their relationships! Join us as we study the most common sources of marital discord; the fine line between obstacles and opportunities; the importance of accepting the two sides of sex and intimacy; the five not-so-easy steps for solving problems.

Children are a marvelous gift from God. Discover how you can instill essential character qualities into the life of your child that result in a life-time of faith and responsible living. NOTE: This is a required class for those desiring to have their child dedicated and is for both parents. Book cost: $8. If cost is a factor, please talk to the leaders.
