Deaf Chapel
The Assembly of God Deaf Chapel (AGDC) is an interdenominational church that meets at First Assembly of God.
Their mission is to provide a place of ministry where deaf people can deepen their relationship with Jesus and reach other deaf people with the gospel of Christ in their own language and culture.
Ministering to the deaf culture is very important. Deaf people feel valued and necessary when others endeavor to know, respect, and understand their culture.
American Sign Language is the language of the deaf, uniting them as a unique linguistic group.
Because deaf people often feel that Christ is inaccessible, hearing people need to understand both their language and culture to effectively share the Word of God and Christ with the deaf.
9:00 a.m., Sunday School
10:30 a.m., Morning Worship in Prayer Chapel
